Get Huge Bargains Investing in Tax Defaulted Property
What do street smart investors do? They make a lot of money buying tax defaulted property. The government is selling properties. They’re doing this in all counties, and they’ve been doing it for over 200 years.
Local county governments have difficulty collecting taxes. If people don’t pay, then the county will confiscate the property and sell it at auction.
The starting bid could be just the back taxes. That means the county is giving a 60%, 70% or 80% or more discount.
The county doesn’t want any more property, so they sell it for 10 cents, 20 cents, or 30 cents on the dollar, and there’s no mortgage on that property.
The mortgage is canceled; the treasury wipes out the mortgage.
Buying Tax Defaulted Property at Home Online
Can you purchase tax defaulted properties from your home? Yes, you can do the whole thing online. You can do this online, or you can do it offline. This is happening every single day and there are going to be thousands of properties.
I’ve been to auctions in Los Angeles where there were over 2,000 properties available, and I’ve been to small counties in Georgia where there were only 26 properties available.
I don’t know what that county has to sell, but there are over 3,000 counties that want to sell bargain real estate at auction.

Earn a Quick Profit Due to the High Margin
It doesn’t take long to figure out that if you can buy for 10, 20, or 30 cents on the dollar and the property has no mortgage, you could sell it and make some money.
The margin in these properties is so high that people make $25,000 or $50,000 on one deal.
You could buy a property today for 30 cents on the dollar and sell it tomorrow because that’s how quickly it could all take place.
Let’s say the property was $100,000 and you paid 25 cents on the dollar. The difference between $25,000 and $100,000 is the margin. That’s your margin for profit.
Make Money Buying and Selling Low
If you try to make all that profit, it might take you a long time to sell it so I don’t do that. I just discount it.
We bought it low, so let’s sell it low. Why don’t we sell it for 65%? If you bought it for $25,000 and sold for $65,000, a 40% profit is good on a $100,000 property.
What are we talking about? How to make money fast with investing. Buy low, sell low and do it fast, and you’re making money.
Anybody can do exactly what I’m talking about today. I have a lot of street smart investors. They’re auction buyers, and they’ve purchased at the lowest price possible.
In most cases, I tell them not to fix them up. I say sell the property into the competitive marketplace and below the market value.
Make a Quick Sale for a Quick Profit
So how do they sell it? They use media to sell it, like Craigslist, the Multiple Listing Service, Zillow, and Trulia. How about hiring a broker? How about putting a sign on the property? What’s wrong with the newspaper? You’re getting the idea.
By putting signs out, using all that media and being way below the market, you’re going to be able to sell quickly.
You’re going to buy it fast because you’re going to buy it at an auction, then you’re going to use a lot of media to let the world know you’re selling it, and you’re going to be able to make good sized profits.
Now, I call that how to make money fast with investing. That’s about as fast as you’re going to get.
